About

Throughout the last 2 years there has been a growing number of churches in Roanoke and the surrounding area who have come together to seek the Lord for this community. Christians United to Pray  began hosting special prayer events  in  the South County Library, as well as, around the area in local churches.
Just this past November 3rd  one of their events was held at the Library where 73 dedicated prayer warriors came together to repent and  intercede for our  families, churches, and the national election. It was  announced there that the Preparing for Transformation Conference would be held on November 14-15   to introduce the community to the need for  Pursuing God in Oneness of Spirit,  thereby attracting God's divine visitation  to   Roanoke and   seeking   transformation and redeeming of the community, as well as, the land.
Over 100 participants joined together  at this seminar which continues to stir hearts and build hunger for prayer in asking God to come and awaken the Church and bring people to Christ in this community as each day more and more  intercessors are  joining the Transform Roanoke site demonstrating that they  realize the cost of  our goal..the prayerful  relationship with  God  and  it's  by-product of  His redeeming presence.
IIChronicles7:14
“…if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
"We believe that it’s only through a visible, tangible, pervasive move of God that the increasing godlessness in our society can change. We believe it is God’s desire to “show Himself strong” to an unbelieving generation. We pray for a spiritual awakening to this community that will cause even the most hard-hearted and broken person to say, “…that has to be God”! We also acknowledge that we must “walk the walk” and not just “talk the talk”. It is our desire to be living demonstrations of the power and love of God and to be conduits of His love in this community.
We continue to watch, pray and seek to become a people of His presence." ~ Transform Winchester
We join with other communities like Winchester and  Richmond  who are  also  committed to  Transforming Reviva,l as well as,  many  other  communities around the nation through Intercessors of America Afilliates.
